What Is A "Model" And What Is A "Style?"

Terms You Need To Know

So that you can shop effectively, here are a few terms you'll want to learn:

  • The Honda Accord is a "Vehicle".
  • The Sedan is one "Model" of the vehicle; the Coupe is another.
  • Each model is also available in a number of "Styles" (i.e. LX, LX-P, EX, and so on).
  • The style determines:
    • How much factory equipment is included;
    • Which upgrade options are available;
    • Which exterior colors, interior colors and seat materials are available.

  • Upgrades to 16" alloy wheels.

  • Black and green exteriors available.
  • Upgraded interior seat fabric.
  • Upgrades to a 4-cylinder, 190hp engine + 17" alloy wheels.
  • Adds: power moonroof, heated mirrors, power lumbar to driver seat.

Add V6 + $2,175
  • Colors of red, white, and blue are deeper hues.
  • This makes the car look faster. ;-)
  • Upgrades to V6, 271hp engine.

Add "L" + $2,200
  • The "L" is for Leather. It includes:
    • Leather seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel
    • Heated front seats
  • Add: XM Satellite Radio, dual zone climate control, external temperature guage
  • Add: steering wheel phone controls, auto-dimming rearview
  • Add: upgraded 270watt premium radio w subwoofer
If both "L" and V6 + $100
  • Adds: Home-Link remote, 4-way power to passenger seat.

Navigation1 + $2,000
  • Navigation
  • Voice recognition
  • Bluetooth

1 Navigation is optional and only available on the L sytles.
